August 27th Erin and Scott tied the knot on the shores of Lake Ontario at historic Fort Ontario. Erin booked us back in January of 2010 right before I was about to give birth to my first son. Come August 27th, 2011, I happened to be 7 months pregnant (again) with my 2nd child. Erin and I have gotten to know each other this past year and a half, and I was so excited to shoot her wedding. The weather couldn’t have cooperated any more and the bride and groom couldn’t have looked any better.
Isaac and I had the most incredible time shooting their bridal party down on Water Street in downtown Oswego. Erin was a bridesmaid in Stephanie and Matt’s wedding a few weeks earlier, so she came equipped and ready with ideas on her wedding day. Working with such a large bridal party can sometimes be difficult, but this group was so fun and easy. I mean come on… who tailgates while we are taking wedding photos? It was so much fun to have close friends and family hanging out for that hour in the parking lot while we were taking photos.
After some quiet time with just Erin and Scott, we packed up the trolley and headed off to the American Foundry to start the party. The food was fantastic, the music was rocking, and the guests were dancing maniacs. It will be a day to remember. Enjoy some of our favorites, then take some time to look longer at their online photo gallery on our proofing page. Enjoy!
